Have the experience and ability to handle NPD/sustaining engineering projects right from defining requirements to production implementation (phase-1 to phase-4). Must have the following:

Requirements definition and analysis to create PDD
Innovation/Ideation/concept generation
Concept selection
Strong in related engineering subjects (SoM, KoM, DoM, Math, Physics, etc.)
Material/Manufacturing process knowledge
Design calculations
DFA
Prototyping experience/Knowledge
Problem solving (RCA)
NPD process
DFMEA/Tol stacks/Other relevant tools
Ability to provide correct inputs to FEA team and interpret FEA results
Ability to run FEA (good to have)
