Position: MSBU Product Lifecycle Manager

Location: India PD Team (Supporting Japan/Shanghai/Korea)

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and enhance the entire lifecycle of MSBU products, encompassing customer support and engineering assistance.

2. Drive MSBU growth by facilitating effective new product introductions, customer and engineering support, and implementing improvements across the product lifecycle.

3. Provide support to MSBU engineering projects and foster a culture of domain expertise, collaboration, and teamwork within the team.

4. Spearhead transformation initiatives within products or processes, fostering a culture of urgency in addressing customer queries and developing agile processes to meet business demands.

5. Evaluate and contribute to the development of technologies supporting future innovations, supporting “Make it easy” initiatives, and fostering new capabilities within the team aligned with MSBU’s vision.

6. Ensure the team provides accurate data for SAP and collaborate with Product Management for continuous improvement.

7. Maintain team compliance with all Molex Policies and procedures, support company focal points, and actively participate in GLSS activities as required.

8. Undertake any other projects or tasks assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
– 1-2 years of experience in product development.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drafting using UG/NX is advantageous.
– Basic understanding of connector design and development processes.
– Familiarity with manufacturing processes like machining, molding, and sheet metal.
– Basic knowledge of product lifecycle management software such as ECTR or Teamcenter.
– Experience with ECO/ECN creation for part/assembly design release in PDM/PLM systems.
– Basic project management skills including planning, development, and execution.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating critical thinking and creativity.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
