Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer in Pune. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing machine and component designs, using computer-aided design (CAD), and ensuring mechanical systems’ functionality, safety, and reliability. This role requires working closely with various teams and stakeholders, including project managers, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications / Job Description

Expertise in machine design and mechanical engineering
Strong component engineering design skills with sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) SolidWorks, drawing creation, Pneumatics, and Cost estimation
Known to create technical documentation for product compliance as per company standard
Experience in designing mechanical systems that are functional, safe, and reliable
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, Attentive to detail and critically minded
Ability to communicate effectively with different teams and stakeholders
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering or related field

Relevant skills that would be beneficial include

Knowledge of engineering standards
Knowledge of Drawing GDNT
Knowledge of materials
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and finishes
Project management.

Experience :

Jr. Designer Position: 2 years+

Designer Position: 6 years+
