Job Description:
o Position Summary: As a Manufacturing Engineer at Ajashy Engineering Sales Pvt Ltd, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process of our construction equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our products while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
o Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality.
o New Product Introduction: Collaborate with design and R&D teams to facilitate the smooth transition of new products into the manufacturing process.
o Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that construction equipment meets or exceeds industry standards.
o Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
o Production Support: Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
o Cost Analysis: Monitor manufacturing costs and develop strategies to reduce production expenses without compromising product quality.
o Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and changes.
o Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, procurement, and quality control, to achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
o Proven experience/ Internship in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
o Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control methods.
o Familiarity in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
o Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
o Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
